Check if your website complies with privacy laws and consent requirements
Free, no account needed. Your report is ready in about a minute.
How the compliance check works
You give us a page
Enter the page you want checked, like example.com or shop.example.com. We look at that exact page, so pick the one that matters most, usually your homepage.
The scan runs at two points
The scan checks what’s set on your page before anyone interacts with your banner, then simulates a ‘reject all’ and checks again. Cookies and trackers both show up in that comparison, along with your banner setup and the external services your page contacts.
You get a report
Your results appear on screen in about a minute. A summary dashboard first, then the detail behind each finding, with an explanation of what each check covers and what the findings may indicate.
What we check
Cookies and trackers
Everything set before anyone consents, and everything still running after a reject. Each one comes back with its category and how long it lasts, and anything we can’t match to a category is flagged for a manual review.
Your consent banner
Which consent platform you’re running, and whether your banner has a reject option, a way to withdraw or edit consent, and a link to your privacy policy.
Google Consent Mode v2
Whether it’s active and what your default signal states are, whether your banner links to Google’s privacy policy, and which Google scripts and Tag Manager containers are running.
We check the order, not just the setup
Your default consent settings only work if they load before your Google tags. We check the order, and flag it when tags fire first.
Where your data goes
Every external service your page contacts, with anything outside the EU flagged. Requests to services outside the EU may need a closer look at your legal basis for transferring data.
What’s in your report
A count of the cookies, trackers and external requests we found, then the detail behind each one. Every cookie and tracker comes with its category, how long it lasts and whether it appeared before consent or survived a reject. You’ll see which consent platform we detected, how your Consent Mode v2 signals are set, and how many of your requests go to services outside the EU.
The check is a snapshot of one page, taken at a single moment. To scan your whole site and keep it monitored as things change, start a free trial.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no credit card, no trial required. Enter a page and you get a report.
What do you do with my email address?
We use it to follow up about your report. You can opt out of marketing emails on the form, and we’ll still send the report either way.
Can I scan a page behind a login?
No. The check sees your page the way a visitor does, so anything behind a login or a paywall is out of reach. Pick a public page.
Does a clean report mean I’m compliant?
No. The check is a helpful starting point, not a compliance certificate or legal advice. It can’t catch everything, and it looks at one page at a single moment. For a full website scan, start a free trial.

*A quick note about your results
This Compliance Check is a helpful starting point, but it’s not the whole story:
- It may not catch everything
- It’s not a substitute for legal advice
- We can’t guarantee 100% accuracy
